The verified Seville private option
Private Malaga Tours lists a seven-hour excursion from Seville with accommodation pickup and drop-off, an English-speaking driver and a two-hour private local-guided Ronda visit. The description also names Setenil and free time in Ronda. Meals, drinks and tips are excluded.
This offers a concrete starting point for a private enquiry. Ask the operator to confirm your address, party size and desired date, then read the selected package before paying. The checked listing displays a per-person starting price. Select your entire party to see the actual total; do not interpret it as a whole-vehicle quote.
Private is not the same as fully customisable
An exclusive vehicle gives your party privacy, but it does not automatically include a changed route, extended hours or extra admissions. Tell the operator what matters: a slower walking pace, a longer lunch, a particular viewpoint or time for the gorge walkway. Get agreement on timing and any extra charge before booking.
Be especially clear if you want both towns. A private Ronda excursion can omit Setenil, and a winery-focused day may spend its time elsewhere. The confirmed itinerary—not the regional category—is the basis of our combined-tour recommendation.
Small group as an alternative
From Málaga, Travel Factory Andalucía’s semi-private trip caps the shared group at seven. It lists guided visits and substantial time in both towns, but it excludes under-twelves and wheelchair users. From Seville, the eight-person White Villages trip adds Zahara and breakfast but has less listed Ronda time.
These are useful alternatives for travellers who want fewer fellow guests without paying for an exclusive booking. They do not provide the same ability to discuss a party-specific schedule, and the departure time remains shared with the group.
Families and accessibility
Private transport can make pickup arrangements easier, but ask about child seats, age limits and vehicle space before assuming it suits your family. Give the operator the children’s ages and any mobility needs. If travelling with a wheelchair, confirm boarding, whether a transfer is required, storage dimensions and the route on foot.
The Seville listing advertises accessibility, but that alone does not establish step-free access to every street or attraction. The gorge walkway has its own restrictions, including a minimum age of eight and no wheelchair or stroller access on the walkways. Read the dedicated guide before requesting it.
What about Marbella and the Costa del Sol?
We verified the Marbella–Estepona coach, but an older private Marbella product redirected to a catalogue during our check. It is not listed here as a live private recommendation. Do not book the Seville product expecting it to collect you on the coast.
For a coast private enquiry, require written confirmation of departure town, both destinations, guiding, vehicle type and price. The same applies to a Málaga private listing that includes an optional countryside experience: check that it leaves enough time for the two-town visit you actually want.
A useful enquiry checklist
Send the date, pickup address, number and ages of travellers, luggage or mobility equipment, preferred language and your two or three essential priorities. Ask for the total price, inclusions, cancellation terms and expected return time. A precise request makes it easier to compare like with like.
Before committing, compare car versus tour. If you already have a rental car and mainly want flexible free time, driving may fit better. If you want to avoid the drive while keeping the day exclusive, a confirmed private package can be worth the extra cost.
